My writing brain is worn out. My writing hand is tired. My notebook is full.

I started the day with a nice cup of coffee with fellow blogger Stacey from Two Writing Teachers. It was very nice to see her-I am so excited about the book she and Ruth are working on. I know it will be a fantastic tool for teachers.

Heard a great talk by Mary Ehrenworth about the Risk and Beauty of Language (also very impressive that she stepped in at the last minute for Georgia Heard who had experience a death in the family).

Learned lots about Non-narrative essay writing in large and small group

went to a closing by Colleen Cruz on writing fantasy

time for finding some dinner

Have lots to share-just too tired to write it up tonight (I know I’ll have the energy sometime soon)

Excited to see the family tomorrow evening

In serious denial about school starting for the kids a week from Monday

Thanks so much for the comment about our book. We, too, hope it will be helpful.
