Tale of Despereaux movie contest November 6, 2008

I’m sure you are all aware that Tale of Despereaux is coming in out in an animated movie soon. There is a contest being offered by School Library Journal, Candlewick Press, and Universal movies. It is open to one entry per school, library, and public library. I’m signed up right away and I’m sure you will want to as well! Thanks to Robin for the info!

    This is a wonderful, popular and heroic tale and our students read it, talk about it and comment on it often.

    We can’t wait to see the movie. As a librarian I realize that a movie often strengthens a students resolve to read a book that has been recommended to them.
